LAUGFS gas down by Rs. 73

The price of a 12.5 kg LAUGFS gas cylinder came down by Rs. 73 while the price of a Shell gas cylinder remained unchanged with effect from today, Internal Trade and Cooperatives Minister Johnston Fernando said.”After discussions held with the two companies, we agreed that the price of a 12.5 kg LAUGFS gas cylinder be reduced by Rs. 73, while the price of a Shell gas cylinder remain unchanged,” he said. According to him, this was done in the interests of the people as the world market price of gas had come down.
