Established in 2002 with the launch of Sri Lanka’s first state-of-the-art fuel filling station, LAUGFS Petroleum has rapidly grown to become one of the country’s fastest expanding energy retail companies. Today, its network of filling stations serves over 30,000 customers daily, delivering convenience, quality, and innovation across the nation.
In 2013, Southern Petroleum was established to further expand operations. Together with LAUGFS Petroleum, the group now operates over 25 strategically located fuel stations nationwide, providing reliable access to energy solutions for communities and businesses alike.
The company also pioneered the use of Near Field Communication technology in Sri Lanka’s petroleum retail sector, serving over 120 corporate clients with more than 25,000 NFC cards.
